Migrations

HELPING THE NEEDY
Its just helping the needy while giving provisions and making such atmosphere to examine the students where they can be completely at home. Indeed there is again Pandora box of flaws and imperfections in migration Procedure.
Our legislation tells us that No student who has passed First Professional Part-I and Part-II MBBS Exam (Previous First Professional Composite Examination) will be migrated to any other Government Medical College or private Medical College
We think this rule must be flexible for students who had been constantly failing in their first Prof MBBS Exam and being relentlessly detained and are on the verge of expulsion. Because we too had seen the brink of this latently violent rule.
Sometimes a person fails to adjust in the new atmosphere ,there might be some gross family problem which a student might have to attend to and he has to drift back to his home town.

For example A student of Rawalpindi Medical College has to transverse 700km from Rawalpindi to D.G Khan or Multan to attend an unavoidable problem. These are not dramas or coined pretexts one may be like a square peg in a round hole.

If he were in First Year Class of Nishter Medical College his hometown. Would NOT it be easy for him to attend classes too.

Further we do not bother of Adjustment Problem One might not adjust in Nishter MC Multan due to sick environment of hostels (Its his Problem not the environment’s but we forget he has competed thousands of student to get place in the medical college and its our at least moral obligation to facilitate him in adjustment) if we cant at least we should not wait and let him be kicked out after subsequent Examination and compounding the problem..

We must facilitate him getting migrated from the SICK ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH HE COULD NOT ADJUSTED

He is a somewhat patient and needs our support and help which we ought to. Migration means facilitation and nothing else it has nothing to do with academics. We must let them migrate wherever he likes (Even if the problem of fixed number of seats originates we can exchange the students just to accommodate him we can inflict a punishment in the form of mild fine or reverting him back to the same college etc after he had passed first professional MBBS Examination).

Just give him a chance!!!
We should allow them to become a doctor. They are the People who topped Colleges Boards and have MILD ADJUSTMENT PROBLEM WHICH CAN BE TACKLED IF THIS RULE IS RELAXED

A student must be given option to be examined in any Government MC to curb the taboos, Psychogenic fears that he will never pass at actual center

Migration rules need to be flexed for at least failing students for they are EVEN IN MORE NEED THEN ACTUAL MIGRATORS

A STUDENT MAY ALSO BE ALLOWED TO REVISE INTERNAL ASSESSMENT FROM THE CENTER HE WISHES TO REVISE

A student may be migrated to other MC for his social, economic, and emotional fears, may be he will perform at any other place

I wish we could settle on these ideas
